About this product
Shelly Camera records to a microSD card in the camera, so the footage stays in your house. There is no subscription to keep it working and no cloud account required to view a recording. Shelly's EU-based cloud storage and AI object recognition are available if you want them, and the camera does its job without them.
Privacy Mode is a hardware-level control, not a setting buried in an app: 1 press stops video recording and disables the microphone and speaker. You can also mask up to 10 blackout zones so chosen parts of the frame are never captured, and set up to 10 motion zones so you are only alerted about the areas that matter.
Video is Full HD 1080p across a 110° horizontal and 70° vertical field of view, with black-and-white night vision for low light. The built-in microphone and speaker give 2-way audio. It streams locally over WebRTC and RTSP, so it works with Home Assistant, Frigate NVR and compatible NVR systems directly, as well as Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Samsung SmartThings.
It runs on USB-C at 5 V and needs no electrician. The magnetic base sits on a shelf, or mounts to a wall or ceiling using the adhesive metal plate in the box. A 2 m USB-C cable is included. A microSD card is not.
