About this product
The Shelly BLU Door/Window is a compact Bluetooth (BLU) contact sensor that reports open/closed state, and tilt: for doors, windows, gates, drawers or letterboxes. It runs on a coin-cell battery, sticks on with adhesive, and needs no wiring.
Being Bluetooth-only by design, it's cheap and long-lived but short-range. To bring it into the Shelly Smart Control app for automations and away-from-home alerts it needs a gateway: a Shelly BLU Gateway (OH-SHE-BLUG) or any Shelly Plus/Pro/Gen3/Gen4 device acting as the bridge. Without one, range is limited to direct Bluetooth.
It works out of the box with Home Assistant via the BTHome protocol. Finished in black.
