The Shelly Presence Gen4 uses 60 to 64 GHz mmWave radar to detect people reliably even when they're sitting still, the failure mode of ordinary PIR motion sensors: identifying up to 6 people at once and covering up to ~42 m².
It supports up to 10 customisable detection zones, so automations can respond to presence in a specific part of a room, and includes a built-in light sensor for lux-aware rules. Gen4 gives it 4 radios: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, Zigbee and Matter-over-Wi-Fi: so it joins whichever ecosystem the home runs.
It's USB-C powered (5 V/1 A), mounts freestanding, with adhesive or screws (including a flipped/upside-down option), and needs no electrician. Available in Black and White.
