About this product
Shelly BLU Door/Window ZB detects a door or window opening and closing, measures the tilt angle on a turn-and-tilt window, and adds a light sensor for illumination-based automations. It runs on a CR2032 battery Shelly rates at up to 5 years.
It runs Bluetooth 5 (LE) and Zigbee 802.15.4 simultaneously, not one or the other. Over Bluetooth it works directly with Home Assistant via BTHome, and reaches the Shelly Smart Control app through a Shelly BLU Gateway or an existing Shelly Plus/Pro/Gen3/Gen4 device. Over Zigbee it joins any compatible Zigbee 3.0 hub. Regular mode reports on every state change; Beacon mode broadcasts status every 30 seconds at the cost of battery life.
This is a newer, separate model from the single-radio Shelly BLU Door/Window (Bluetooth only, no light sensor), not a colour option of it. Colour: White.
No installation: battery-powered, adhesive/magnet mount, pairs in the app. A Shelly BLU Gateway or Shelly Plus/Pro/Gen3/Gen4 device is needed for the Smart Control app over Bluetooth; a compatible Zigbee hub is needed over Zigbee. Home Assistant works directly via BTHome, no gateway required.
