About this product
The Shelly Wave i4 DC is the low-voltage sibling of the Wave i4. Same 4 dry-contact inputs for triggering scenes and automations elsewhere on the Z-Wave network, but powered by 5 to 24 V DC instead of mains AC. That makes it the right choice where there's no mains present at the switch location: doorbell-transformer circuits, 12 to 24 V control panels, solar/PV systems, or battery-backed setups.
It carries no relay output and no power metering. It's purely an input/trigger device, not a load switch. Like every Z-Wave product, it needs a separate Z-Wave controller or hub already on the network, which is normal for the protocol rather than a limitation of this unit specifically.
