About this product
The Shelly Pro Dimmer 2PM lives in the switchboard, not behind a wall plate. It's a DIN rail unit that dims 2 independent lighting circuits with trailing-edge dimming, each with its own power metering, and it talks over Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time: so if the Wi-Fi drops, LAN keeps it online.
It's built for jobs where dimmers need to sit at the board rather than in a switch cavity: multi-circuit lighting, KNX integration jobs, or installs where the sparky wants everything centralised. Ratings are set for standard dimmable LED, incandescent and halogen loads, plus electronic and iron-core transformers for low-voltage lamps.
Being a Pro-series device it comes with the tougher housing (flame-retardant V-0 rated) and overheating/overvoltage/overpower protection expected on switchboard gear, plus a full 5-year warranty. It integrates into KNX systems directly, which suits anyone running a KNX job who wants Shelly dimming without a separate gateway.
