About this product
The Shelly Pro Dimmer 1PM is a single-channel trailing-edge dimmer built for the switchboard rather than behind a wall plate. It handles dimmable LED, halogen and ferromagnetic (iron-core) transformer loads up to 200 W, and reports voltage, current, power and energy back through the app or local web interface.
Because it's DIN-rail mounted, it's a natural fit where an electrician wants dimming control centralised in the board rather than distributed at each switch: new builds, renovations, or any job where the existing wall switches should keep working exactly as they do now. It connects over Wi-Fi and also has a wired Ethernet port, so it can run on LAN as a backup if Wi-Fi drops out, and it works locally (web interface, scripting, MQTT) without any cloud dependency for day-to-day control.
As a Pro-series device it carries the tougher build associated with switchboard installation: flame-retardant (V-0) plastics, overheating/overvoltage/overpower protection, and KNXnet/IP support for integration into KNX-based commercial and residential systems. It needs external overcurrent protection (10 A, curve B or C) fitted upstream in the board.
