Customer wants the roller shutter on their phone, but the motor is already wired to a wall switch?
Set the Pro 2PM to cover mode and wire the motor's up and down lines to O1 and O2, with the existing switch on I1 and I2. The wall switch keeps working, the app and schedules are added on top, and power monitoring detects the end stop so no limit switches need wiring. Diagram: Shelly.

Need separate up and down buttons for a blind or garage door?
The same cover-mode wiring with a 2-button momentary switch: 1 button per direction, each on its own input. Electrical interlock in the Pro 2PM means both outputs can never be live at once, which protects the motor. Diagram: Shelly.

Want to switch 2 circuits and see what each one costs to run?
In switch mode the Pro 2PM runs 2 independent circuits from 1 DIN-rail unit, with its own wall switch on each input and per-channel power monitoring on each output. Use it for a hot water element and a pool pump, or any 2 loads up to 16 A each, and read the kWh of both in the app. Diagram: Shelly.
Key features
2 independently metered channels: 16 A each, 25 A total; voltage, current and power per channel.
Roller shutter mode: the same unit drives a bi-directional shutter, awning, gate or garage door motor.
DIN-rail, switchboard install: centralises control at the board rather than behind individual switches.
Wired LAN plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: Ethernet backup alongside Wi-Fi.
KNXnet/IP in switching mode: integrates into KNX systems for relay control.
Local switching, connected metering: on/off works without internet; energy reporting needs a network connection.
AC supply only: 110 to 240 V; no DC supply option on current hardware.

About this product
The Shelly Pro 2PM puts 2 mains circuits under independent control and metering, or switches to cover mode and runs a single bi-directional roller shutter, awning or gate motor. Each channel is rated 16 A, with 25 A total across the unit, and both channels report voltage, current and power separately.
It's a DIN-rail device for the switchboard, aimed at jobs where centralising control at the board makes more sense than a device behind every switch plate: light circuits, appliance circuits, or shutter/blind automation on a new or existing installation. It connects over Wi-Fi with a wired Ethernet port available as backup, and runs its core switching functions locally through its own web interface without needing the internet; power-metering data specifically does need a network connection to reach the cloud or any connected platform.
The current hardware revision (v.1) is AC-only. The earlier v.0 also offered 12 VDC, which has been dropped, and adds 4-layer PCBs for better thermal handling and improved dielectric clearances in the plastic shell. KNXnet/IP is supported for switching/relay mode.
