About this product
Shelly BLU H&T ZB is a compact splash- and dust-resilient (IP54) sensor that measures ambient temperature and humidity, on a coin-cell battery Shelly rates at roughly 3 years. It mounts on any flat surface. No wiring.
It carries 2 independent radios rather than one: Bluetooth 5 (LE) and Zigbee 802.15.4. Over Bluetooth it works directly with Home Assistant via BTHome, and reaches the Shelly Smart Control app through a Shelly BLU Gateway or any existing Shelly Plus/Pro/Gen3/Gen4 device acting as bridge. Over Zigbee it joins any compatible Zigbee 3.0 network/hub. The single push-button also triggers an on-demand reading and a scene-activation event.
No schedules, webhooks, scripting or MQTT run on the device itself. Automation logic lives on whichever hub or app it is paired to. Covered by Shelly's 2-year manufacturer warranty. Colour: Black.
No installation: battery-powered, surface mount. A Shelly BLU Gateway or Shelly Plus/Pro/Gen3/Gen4 device is needed for the Smart Control app over Bluetooth; a compatible Zigbee hub is needed over Zigbee. Home Assistant works directly via BTHome, no gateway required.
