About this product
The Ecowitt WS90 is a solar-powered 7-in-1 weather sensor, wind speed and direction (ultrasonic, no moving cups), rainfall (haptic, no tipping bucket), temperature, humidity, light and UV. In the official Powered-by-Shelly variant.
This version speaks Bluetooth and Zigbee into the Shelly ecosystem rather than Ecowitt's own Sub-GHz radio, so it reports through a Shelly BLU Gateway (OH-SHE-BLUG) or a compatible Shelly Plus/Pro/Gen3/Gen4 device and feeds Shelly automations. It is NOT compatible with Ecowitt gateways or consoles.
It's built for the outdoors, IPX5, −40 to 60 °C. Pole-mounts on a 25 mm mast, and runs from a built-in solar panel with 2 × AA lithium backup (optional 12 V DC). A weather station that drives Shelly scenes, not a standalone Ecowitt display kit.
