About this product
The Switch Add-on clips onto a Shelly Pro 3EM and gives it a galvanically isolated dry contact: an output with no voltage of its own, safe for switching control circuits. Rated 2 A at 240 V AC, it's sized to drive a contactor coil, which is exactly how most installers will use it: the 3EM watches consumption, the add-on trips the contactor for hot water, pool pumps or load shedding.
It draws its power from the host meter, mounts on the same DIN rail footprint, and is controlled through the Pro 3EM's app rules and local automations. Note it only works with the Pro 3EM and Pro 3EM 3CT63. It is not a standalone relay.
Switchboard accessory: DIN rail, licensed electrician only; requires a Shelly Pro 3EM to function.
