About this product
The Shelly Pro 2 puts 2 potential-free (dry-contact) relay channels on the DIN rail. 16 A per channel, 25 A total across the unit. Dry contacts carry no voltage of their own, so each channel can switch a circuit at a different voltage to the Shelly's supply: lighting, gates, contactor coils or extra-low-voltage control.
A physical Ethernet (RJ45) port sits alongside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for a hardwired LAN where switchboard Wi-Fi is unreliable. It runs standalone: local web interface, scripting, schedules and MQTT, with no hub required. The current v.1 hardware is AC-only (the earlier 12 VDC option has been dropped).
This is the non-metering model; for per-channel consumption data, the Pro 2PM is the metered equivalent in the same footprint. Being Pro-series it carries Shelly's 5-year warranty tier and is built for licensed-electrician installation in the board.
