Sensibo Room Sensor: Temperature, Humidity & Occupancy

The Room Sensor works with the Sensibo Air and the Sensibo AirPRO. It does not work with the Sensibo Sky. That is the first thing to check before ordering. It is not a controller in its own right and does not operate an air conditioner on its own; it is a second measurement point for a Sensibo you already have.

The problem it solves is that the Air and AirPRO read temperature at the wall unit, which is rarely where anyone is sitting. The Room Sensor measures temperature, humidity and occupancy from wherever you put it, and the controller can use both readings or work from the Room Sensor's alone. Because it detects movement, the air conditioner can switch off when a room empties and come back on when someone walks in, without anyone opening the app. That matters most in a large room where the wall unit and the couch are on opposite walls, and in rentals where the system needs to manage itself.

There is nothing to install. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, included, and fixes in place with the supplied adhesive mount. Best at mid height, out of direct sun and clear of the air conditioner's airflow. It pairs to your Air or AirPRO over Bluetooth in the app in about 30 seconds. The unit is 47 × 47 × 21 mm.
